About Boner the Cruising Cat

Hi Boner here, back on the water 2018.

I was born in a Donzi on the shores of Big Bone Creek. My two brothers and one sister were taken away by the marina owner and adopted out at Pets Mart by Santa. We were all mackerel (tiger) tabbies with gold eyes. My mother saved me by carrying me to safety during the boat siege. That winter we stayed in a horse barn’s hay loft. It was OK but horses smell and are dirty. The next spring it was clear I needed a warmer home, so I went to Boone’s Landing and adopted them. I’m now the Commodore at Big Bone Landing and carry the land title of ‘Manager of Rodent Affairs and Public Relations’. This fall I am being transferred to Paraiso as cabin mate. What ever that is! Apparently, they already had a mechanics mate.
