About Chris

Just Chris….  I worked at a boy scout camp at the rifle range and knot training center. Wanted to work at the lake front but,  when I couldn’t find a 1000′ of shoreline in the boat shed, the dock master sent me to the rifle range where apparently they had no firing line humor. Later, I worked helping my dad in the family print shop. Looking back, I wasn’t a very good at printing. It was interesting how oil and water comes together and make print happen. My first chemistry lesson. My first car was crap-tastic so I got a job at a SOHIO filling station to teach me how to keep it running. Got my first good tool set and developed a skill that has stuck with me even today. Thanks,  Dave for a great life lessons. If cameras were invented back then I’d have some great big hair pics of Jonathan and me. Oh, became a chemist and was first to synthesized 1,2,4,5 tetra amino benzene (very nasty chemical ) that is a key to replacing Kevlar some day , 1,2,3,4,5,6 hexa phenyl benzene, 1,4 di acetylene benzene very unstable at the melting point, brought green magnetic viewing paper back to life, and invented et. al. oil absorbing microbeads based on NCR’s gelatin carbonless technology. Retired from chemistry to rebuild a local marina.
