During our trip in Florida we have always pulled into a dock somewhere to spend the night. We do this mainly because we do not have a dingy boat as yet. The weather for the next couple days was going to be nice and we were going to meet up with a buddy boat Mark and Patti on Odyssey II (who did have a dingy). They are seasoned vets of the keys and know all the best places! With a quick hale on the radio Patti guided us into the bay. We ended up at Sunset Cove near Key Largo. We pulled in about 1:00PM and dropped out anchor. Once set we monitored our GPS system to make sure we were not dragging out anchor. There were a few other boats in the area as well, so we could also watch them to make sure we were not moving.

Chris tried the crab trap out in hopes to catch a crap or lobster. He also had two fishing poles out. It would be nice to catch dinner. Not in the cards today.
Odyssey II (Mark and Patti) picked us up and we went into shore to Snook’s Bayside Inn to watch the sunset at their Tiki Bar. It was an awesome stop over, thanks to Patti and Mark!
