We could not stay away! It felt a bit like we were back home when we returned to Faro Blanco. The great loopers were all still here and welcomed us back at 5:00 docktales.
We decided to stay a couple days waiting for the winds to die down. We also needed to find a diver to check our props. We found one and she went under the boat on a pretty windy day. She found a large ball of rope on our port-side prop.OMG! We did not see that one coming. So when you tell the local cruiser: we did not hit a crab/lobster pot, the rope just jumped out of the water at us, they all roll the eyes and say yea yea yea heard that one before. but it is true in our case, and here is the ball of rope!
Janis celebrated her birthday with shrimp and beer, her favorites! Plate of shrimp $6. Best deal in Fl. Chris went all in and bought two plates! We were shrimp drunk when we got home.
