The cruse to St. Augustine was a beautiful one. Lots of nice homes and sunshine along the way.
We arrived at the marina and fueled up and got right to our slip. The city was all lit up for Christmas! We made sure that Paraiso was also decorated a bit for the season. We put up a large stocking (thanks Linnea!) for Santa to fill.
Two days before Christmas, we decided to hike out to the grocery store which we thought was only 1.2 miles away. It turned out to be 2.2 miles away. We were thankful to have the rolling cooler Chris’ mom, Shirley gave us. It made the trip back a lot easier as well as the stop at the local watering hole about half way back to the boat! On Christmas Eve, St. Augustine was till buzzing. We strolled around and stopped at a few outside bars to eat, drink and be merry!
The day before we planned to leave it was amazing the fog that came in and stayed all day! We hoped that this would not be how it looked the next day.
