Currently, Paraiso flips between of summer home of Boone’s Landing (Chris) at Big Bone Creek, KY and wintering over at Pier 99 in Warsaw, Ky. Both marinas are AGLCA (America’s Great Loop Cruisers’ Association ) friendly, just ask us for help. Officially, Paraiso is on the Great Loop Cruise with an extended side trip up the Ohio River. November 2015 Paraiso will start chasing the weather to the south.
We are refitting the boat this year with several new items in preparation of a return trip to Florida with a second crack at the gulf crossing, and beyond. We replaced all the salt corroded LED lights, new silverware (wow some things you just can’t cheap out on), replaced pike poll broken by the captain, upgrades to chart plotter (most exciting), new dingy with outboard motor, fishing knife replacer, new long range deck radios (cheap) with frequency programmable feature (marine, weather, CB, family, business, police ,fire,), Aft deck chairs, Fix ice-maker, install digital antenna,
Most of all install the new AGLCA flag for the voyage.
OH and the plan? push off as soon as we can and return as late as possible.
